In plain terms: use our apps for their intended purpose, don't misuse them, and understand that we provide them in good faith but can't guarantee they're perfect for every situation.

Using our apps and website
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our apps and website for their intended purpose. In return, you agree not to:
- copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from our apps except as permitted by law;
- use our products for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm us or other users;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or interfere with their normal operation;
- resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our products without our written permission.
App stores
Our apps are distributed through third-party stores such as the Google Play Store. Your use of those stores is also governed by their own terms. Where a store's terms conflict with ours in relation to distribution, the store's terms apply to that distribution.
Health and safety notice
Some of our apps are wellbeing tools designed to make everyday experiences more comfortable. They are not medical devices and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a health concern, please speak with a qualified professional. Never use our apps in a way that distracts you while driving or operating machinery.
Intellectual property
All content, branding, design, and code in our website and apps are owned by Candid Living or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you beyond the limited licence described above.
Purchases and subscriptions
Where an app offers paid features or subscriptions, the price and terms are shown at the point of purchase and are handled by the relevant app store. Refunds are subject to the store's refund policy and to any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Availability and changes
We work to keep our products available and reliable, but we may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of them at any time. We may also update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimers
Our products are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about their accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions, including Australia under the Australian Consumer Law, provide guarantees that cannot be excluded, and nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Candid Living will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our products. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant product, or to resupplying it, at our option.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia for any dispute arising from them.
